Bride's Stories
Angela
When Angela came to see us she knew she didn't want the traditional white wedding gown. We sourced a beautiful, sand Dupion silk shot with silver to flatter her golden, sun kissed complexion. She fancied the idea of a halter neck and when trying on gowns fell for a big rustling skirt with peeking petticoat. With these ideas in mind we created for her a contemporary and unique wedding gown featuring Svarowsky diamond buttons along the back, adding stunning detailing.
The quiet night before the wedding didn't go to plan... In the early hours Angela woke to the sound of the smoke alarm. Waking the flower girl and her bridesmaid, who were staying the night, they fled the fire. Waiting for the fire brigade to arrive Angela decided to dash
back in and save her wedding gown. The black smoke was closing in and she could hardly see, but managed to drag the gown out of the house to safety. The fireman rescued the bridesmaid's and flower girl's dresses as soon as they arrived.
With the fire damage being not being as bad as it had looked the wedding went ahead as planned. Angela had a fantastic day and sent us a Thank You card for a gown much loved and admired.
